INSURANCE BAD FAITH

If you have been injured, an insurance adjuster representing the at-fault party will be contacting you very soon after your injury.

This adjuster may tell you that he or she can resolve your claim without the need for you to hire an attorney. He or she will then take a statement from you, and ask you to sign numerous authorizations which grant the adjuster the right to obtain your personal medical records and other information.

What the adjuster likely will NOT tell you is that you could receive more compensation for your injuries if you hired an attorney.

Furthermore, the adjuster will likely NOT tell you about all the coverage which may apply to your claim.

After spending many weeks or months "investigating" your claim, we frequently see instances where the adjuster will offer the unrepresented injured party a nominal amount to settle his or her claim. By this point in time, witnesses may have disappeared or other critical evidence may be difficult to obtain.

In hundreds of cases of this nature, we have successfully filed claims against the insurance company wherein we have alleged and proven that the insurance adjuster has been guilty of improper conduct or "insurance bad faith".

You have nothing to lose by contacting our office as soon as possible following the injury.  We offer a free, no-obligation consultation. We will review and investigate your claim to make sure that the insurance adjuster is not trying to take advantage of you.
